What you will be doing
When was the last time you heard anyone saying “You can skip this class”? Well, you are out of luck. Only part of this sentence is true “ You can skip” - to your heart’s content. Any style is allowed: one leg, two legs, crossed legs. Jump like your life depends on it. You’ve never skipped before? Don’t worry we have you covered. We start from the basics and we progress with every skip. By the end of the class you will be gasping for air, lol-ing and high on endorphins. No wonder boxers skip like crazy. Check how happy they look 😉. Try it once and you will be addicted for life.
We start with a warm up and some lower and upper body stretching. The warm up won’t be with a skipping rope- trust me you will have enough of it later on. We then move to the main workout. We learn how to skip properly and safely. After that, let the fun begin. We play skipping games, use tabata for that extra intensity and we might even skip on the big rope!!!
Set on the banks of the Thames, this beautiful public terrace overlooking the city is just 3 mins walk from Monument tube station, with London Bridge station just 0.4 miles away across the bridge. Go to the pin and once you see the stairs with the sign stating 'public terrace river views', go up! The terrace is located at Saint Magnus House, 3 Lower Thames St, Bridge, London EC3R 6HE (51°30'31.3"N 0°05'09.3"W).
