What you will be doing
A Yin & Yang based Wind down flow Yoga class.
Routine
This class is the midweek tonic, a very gentle Yin & Yang flow class with an emphasis on ironing out the body's kinks, unwinding and helping you transition from day to night. We start with some Pranayama (breathing) and gentle body awakening Asanas and then working through Chandra Namaska or Moon Salutations, this helps to energetically move the prana or life force through the body finishing off with more Yin based postures and Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation). Every week there is different focus, i.e areas of the body, Chakras or just a theme like 'letting go'. In Yin Yoga we tend to hold (with very little effort) the poses for longer for to really shift and switch over to total relaxation. All levels welcome.
