What you will be doing
How about starting your day with a refreshed and calm mind?! Do you know how much your morning routine influences your day ahead? Join me on Thursday mornings in a yoga class dedicated to ourselves entirely. An intimate practice between you, your body, your breath and your mind. Yoga stretches in the morning will make you release any stiffness in the body, Pranayama (breath work) will enliven your body increasing your energy and Meditation will help you keep a cooler head throughout the day. Bring your tea or coffee and let's wake our body up together. If there are any Chai lovers out there I can give my you special Chai recipe ;)
Routine
The class will start with sips of tea/chai/coffee before coming into some gentle movements taking our time to connect to our breath, stretch our muscles and joints, bringing awareness to our movements and to our body. We might indulge in some sweet flowy movements before coming back to our breath as we will work with some Pranayama techniques. Class will finish with a short guided meditation then a few minutes in Savasana. Have some pillows at hand, a few thick books or yoga blocks and a long belt (or scarf) because we will surely use some props in our routine.
