Lockdown 2.0 Fitness for Netball 🏐🏅🤾♀️

What you will be doing
Just as you were getting the hang of the 4' distancing rule, netball is back on hold.
To keep match fit during lockdown here is a 40 minute session specifically programmed to focus on the areas of fitness most beneficial to netball performance to fill the void on a Tuesday night.
The session will be split into... you guessed it... 4 quarters!
1) An extended mobility warm up to reduce the risk of injuries and ensure you are as agile as possible when pivoting for a pass.
2) A round of high intensity cardio focused intervals to ensure you can last the full 40 minutes without slowing down.
3) A lower body strength round to ensure you can still leap for those intercepts!
4) Last but not least a round focusing on core strength and balance essential to stop you being blown for footwork!
There will be the option to use a netball for some of the exercises so it's great if you have one, but not essential. Also great but not essential if you have a mat available for comfort as there will be some floor based exercises.
