What you will be doing
Barre, is a Creative, Fun, Total Body Workout. Based on the strengthening elements of Ballet, it also draws on Pilates and Yoga; giving you a Low Impact Strengthening and Lengthening workout. Class takes place right on the riverfront using the railing as a Barre, locations don't get more perfect than that!
This is not a Dance Class, Open to ALL LEVELS.
Classes will work your entire body, from your quads, glutes and abdominals, to strengthening your ankles. We do big movements like Lunges, and then throw in smaller pulses and isometric holds to strengthen in a variety of ways. Classes also work on your flexibility and stability. Think of Barre as Pilates on Steroids.
