What you will be doing
A slow paced yoga practice combining the profiles of Chinese medicine with postures that are held for longer periods of time, between 2-10 minutes. Targets the connective tissues between the muscles and deep tissue (the fascia). Increases blood flow and circulation to joints and improves flexibility. Good for those who suffer from joint pain or bad posture, stress and injury. Can be mentally and physically challenging we are forced to stay still in the postures. Can target stress anxiety and insomnia and ease any chronic physical pain.
6-8 postures held between 2-10 minutes with a longer meditative final relaxation/ yoga Nidra (yogic sleep for body and mind).
