What you will be doing
Join me for an hour of vinyasa yoga outside at Victoria Park. We will focus on building strength and compassion towards body and mind. Practising outdoors can be a joyful way to let go of stress and tension and to connect back to nature as well as to yourself.
You can expect a balance of dynamic flow, mobility work, breath work and meditation. I aim to combine ancient wisdom with a modern approach to life, all led by breath. Always mixed-level and open to beginners as well as experienced practitioners. You’ll get options to take your practice a little deeper or to slow it down, whatever your body needs that day.
Routine
To leave the day behind, we’ll begin with a gentle warm-up, followed by flowing through sun salutations and a variation of standing postures. Then there'll be space to ground down, twist, fold and unfold again before we finish in deep relaxation while watching the clouds move above us.
Notes
We’ll meet at Burdett-Coutts Drinking Fountain, at the little gate that roughly points towards west (as pinned on the map). All you need is comfy clothes, your own mat/towel and water.
There’s the All Points East festival happening at the end of August, but the meeting point will stay accessible.
Bookings close three hours before the class is due to start. Please note that you can save some money with class bundles. These are available on my profile.
